Les Contamines-Montjoie
The French Alps are not only to be enjoyed in the winter months. At Ski4Less, we offer summer holidays in the French resort Les Contamines-Montjoie, ideally located in the Mont Blanc region. Sitting at 1,164m, Les Contamines-Montjoie is an authentic mountain village situated in a beautiful open valley. Two-thirds of the land is occupied by an extremely diverse Nature Reserve, offering breath-taking landscapes and a multitude of activities such as hiking, mountaineering, canoeing, canyoning, and biking. For those wishing for a more relaxing trip, there are also leisurely walking routes.
The 30-acre Patrice Dominguez Leisure Park is the largest in the Mont Blanc region. With 20 activities on the programme there is something for everyone, including but not exclusive to; a heated swimming lake, tennis, mini-golf, tree-top adventure playground, pedalos, horse-riding, rock climbing, donkey rides, biathlon, archery, trampoline.
Les Contamines-Montjoie is a great base for your activities and a gateway to many lengthy and shorter hiking routes. With over 120km of marked hiking trails, your walks will be diversified and varying in difficulty. For those who are avid mountaineers, Chamonix is just around the corner – renowned as the home of alpine mountaineering.
Not only an ideal summer and winter activity resort, Les Contamines-Montjoie also boasts plenty of shops, bars, restaurants, banking facilities, tourist information, and reliable bus and taxi services.

What do we offer?
Book your place on a relaxation or activity holiday in Les Contamines-Montjoie from £320pp per week from June to September. This includes a self-catered apartment with bed linen, towels, and tourist tax, 1 afternoon of white water rafting (based on a minimum of 8 per raft), and 1 day of mountain bike hire. If you would like to change your activities or preferences please contact us and we can help you plan! If required we can book local guides to take you on the activities for an extra charge.
Accommodation
All of our apartments are 2-star or higher, 4-8 berth, and are self-contained with kitchenettes, bathroom, toilet, balcony or terrace, and free parking. We have access to 22 residences and over 100 apartments in this resort, therefore we can send full descriptions and interior photos of our apartments based on your preferences via e-mail.
Travel & Insurance
For holiday insurance and various travel options please visit the relevant pages on this website by selecting from the top menu bar for flights, car hire, airport parking, airport transfers, and channel crossings. If you book your own flight to Geneva we can assist with hire cars or airport transfers. For larger groups, such as Army Adventure Training Expeditions, we can provide 49 seat executive coaches to take you from the UK to the resort.
